Shield Termination in Partial Conduit (Figure 15)
Do not allow the shield drain wire to enter the system cabinet or the
conduit.
Connect the drain wire to the termination point of the conduit run
(such as a single-gang box as illustrated above).
The conduit cannot be longer than 20 feet.
If the partial conduit system exceeds 20 feet, terminate the SLC shield
drain wire as if the SLC were entirely installed in conduit.
