CHAPTER 2 OPERATIONS
VI . TRAY MOVEMENT
1.
Outline
The machine is equipped with two delivery trays: tray B is designed to move up and down, and
tray A is fixed in position.
The drive gear assembly of the tray is equipped with a tray B locked sensor (PI23). If the sensor
state does not change because of a fault in the motor despite the application of drive signals to tray B
shift motor, the finisher controller PCB will identify the condition as a tray error and will indicate an
error code on the copier's display.
