PROSet

PROSet is the network feature check utility included in the network driver.
You can use PROSet to do the followings:
Check of detailed adapter information
Diagnosis by using loopback and packet send tests
Set of teaming
The configuration of more than one network adapter as a team can provide servers with the
environment of excellent fault tolerance to improve the throughput between server switches. To use
the feature, PROSet is required.
Install PROSet in the following procedure.
When the system is Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions
1.
Insert the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM into the DVD-ROM drive.
2.
The [Windows Explorer] dialog starts.
* The procedure in the case of the standard start menu
Click Start menu and click [Windows Explorer].
* The procedure in the case of the classic start menu
Click Start menu, point to [Programs], [Accessories] and click [Windows Explorer].
3.
Run "DXSETUP.EXE" in the following directory.
<DVD-ROM driveLetter>:\WINNT\W2K3AMD\NS41S\PROSET\WS3XPX64
The [Intel(R) PROSet - Install Shield Wizard] dialog starts.
4.
Click [Next].
5.
In the [License Agreement] window, select [I Accept the terms in the license agreement].
6.
Click [Next].
7.
Select [Complete] and click [Next].
8.
Click [Install] will begin the installation and click [Finish] on [InstallShield Wizard
Completed].
9.
Restart the system.
