Dismantling Round & Oval Guide Sleeve Bush &
Retainer (Long & Short Guide Sleeves)
Description
There are 2 types of Guide Sleeve bushes used. 2 round "plastic"
bushes in the long sleeve bore fig 48 and 1 oval "bronze" bush in
the short guide sleeve bore Fig 53.
NOTE
: The process of removing the long guide sleeve bushes
from the housing will at the same time remove the dust excluder
retainer, which is pressed into the mouth of the housing guide
sleeve bore. This is not true for the case of the removal of the
short guide sleeve oval bush. Due to the presence of a lip (Fig
53), this bush must be removed from the opposite direction to
that of the long guide sleeve bushes.
