Controlling the transmit antennas
Depending on your test setup, you can control the way the antenna segments transmit
the radar signal.
1. Select "QAT Settings".
2. Select "Tx In <x>".
3. Select "Tx ∑" to transmit the same signal on all transmit antenna segments.
Use this setting if you want to simulate a single radar object.
4. Select "Tx In <x>" to have a different signal on each antenna segment.
Controlling the receive antennas
Basically, the receive antennas are always active and receive the radar signal.
The "Rx Select" connector feeds one of the signals from the Rx antennas into an exter-
nal device. You can select which signal you want to route to the "Rx Select" connector.
1. Select "QAT Settings".
2. Select "Rx Select" to select the signal that is available on the "Rx Select" connec-
tor.
3. Select "Rx Select A" to "Rx Select E".
The R&S QAT routes the signal of the selected Rx connector to the "Rx Select"
connector.
