Cleaning the Thread Path

Clean lint and wax in the tension area with a piece of
paper.
Select the ordinary sewing mode for cleaning the thread
e
path.
z Press the home key to open the home window.
On the home window, press the Ordinary Sewing
Mode key to open the ordinary sewing mode.
Press the presser foot lifter button to lower the presser
foot.

e Presser foot lifter button
x Raise the presser foot with the presser foot lifter.
r Presser foot lifter
c Insert a piece of paper along the right channel and
lower the presser foot with the presser foot lifter.
r Presser foot lifter
t Right channel
v Turn the power switch off.
Scrape out the lint with the paper.
y Power switch
b Clean the needle bar thread guide with the lint brush.
