3. Insert the working cartridge and the click the [SET] button.
The result is displayed.

Tip
A fails part is displayed as follows.
• Fails of optical block assembly 0/1: MAIN BASE
• Fails of optical block assembly 2/3: SUB BASE
• Fails of both optical block assemblies: BOTH

SPINDLE MOTOR AUTO TEST

This menu is used to check operation of the spindle motor.
Note
• Use a working cartridge to execute this menu.
• When executing this menu, place the unit in the right position.
- ODS-D280U: horizontal
- ODS-D280U: vertical (right side surface below)
ODS-D280U: Horizontal
If these sensors are checked with the unit placed improperly, the sensor check may fail.
