Spindle Motor

Note
• The optical block assembly in the optical drive assembly may be damaged by the static electricity charged in the
human body and clothes. Before starting the work, provide proper grounding. (Refer to
the Optical Block
Assembly".)
• The powerful magnets are used in the spindle motor and the actuator portion around the objective lens in the optical
drive assembly. In particular, if the driver hits the actuator portion due to magnetic force, there is a risk of damaging
the objective lens. Also, the magnetic characteristics change when a magnetic substance is put close to it. Therefore,
be careful not to put any magnetic substance close to it.
• When removing the spindle motor, the packing material (hereafter, referred to as "tray") is used. If the tray is not
available, prepare the following part.
