14 Troubleshooting

Ask for assistance from skilled personnel if:
• The unit is damaged after being dropped;
• There is noticeable deterioration in performance
of the unit.
• The unit does not work properly, even though
all the instructions in this handbook have been
followed.
The device is off and shows no
PROBLEM
signs of life.
Wiring error, blown fuse.
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Make sure the connections are
correct. Check the continuity of the
fuses and if one is blown replace it
using the size as indicated in the
table. If blown fuses are a frequent
problem, contact your authorised
service centre.
The preset position settings do
PROBLEM
not correspond to the shooting
area.
Loss of absolute position reference
CAUSE
point.
SOLUTION
Follow the procedure to calibrate
the P&T from the keyboard (see the
appropriate handbook), or reset the
apparatus by switching it off and on
again.
In special zoom conditions the
PROBLEM
housing or sunshield interfere
with the image being shot (only
for versions with motorised
zoom lens).
The camera is positioned too far
CAUSE
back with respect to the window.
SOLUTION
Adjust the camera position on the
slide until the correct position is
obtained.

It is not possible to connect
PROBLEM
with the camera.
Incorrect camera connection.
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Check camera connections.
During start-up the pan & tilt is
PROBLEM
disabled.
Air temperature is very low.
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Wait until the end of the pre-heating
procedure.
It is not possible to control the
PROBLEM
Pan & Tilt.
Incorrect communication line
CAUSE
configuration.
SOLUTION
Check dip-switches configuration (
7.3 Configuration, page 28).
