7.B. Use of a USB Flash Drive
When using a USB fl ash drive, insert it before running any protocol and do not remove it until the proto-
col is fi nished.
Do not insert or remove a USB fl ash drive while instrument is running.
Since USB fl ash drives may vary from vendor to vendor or from type to type, incompatibilities can occur.
If your USB fl ash drive is not detected after a few seconds or if you encounter any issues with the USB
fl ash drive, shut down and restart the tablet and the instrument, and try a diff erent brand of USB fl ash
drive.
If the tablet controller becomes unresponsive after inserting a USB fl ash drive, shut down and restart
the tablet and the instrument.

Explanation
Instrument self-initialization has not passed. Contact
Promega Technical Services.
Instrument detected that previous run was aborted. Check
to see whether plungers are loaded on the plunger bar. If
so run Clean Up protocol from the Settings Menu and
follow prompts to safely remove them. After plungers
have been unloaded remove the deck tray from the
instrument if it is still present.
User warning informing user that the fi rmware version
change has been detected.
