Module programming

Refer to "LED diagnostics and troubleshooting" for more information and for troubleshooting purposes.
Wait until the LED turns ON solid red.

Note: To skip the transponder programming and use convenience features only, press
the programming button 5 times. Wait until the LED turns ON solid orange, then
proceed with step 2.
Insert and turn the key tothe ON position.
The LED will start to flash orange.

If the transponder programming was skipped, the LED turns ON solid orange for 3
seconds then shuts OFF when programming is done.
Make sure the vehicle cannot start:

Automatic transmission: Put the transmission in Driver (D Position).

Manual transmission: DO NOT depress the clutch pedal.

Turn and keep the key at START until the LED starts to flash green.
Turn the key back to ON.

The LED will start to flash green 1, 2 or 3 times and then turn OFF.
For vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, put the transmission in Park (P

position).
Turn the key to OFF and remove it from the ignition barrel, when the module is

successfully programmed.
You have successfully completed the module programming sequence.
