The Watchport Series is the first line of plug-and-play USB devices for 24/7 environmental
monitoring. Asset monitoring is key in reducing total cost of ownership by pre-empting system
failures, extending the life of equipment, and reducing downtime in mission-critical applications
like branch server room management and equipment room monitoring. Camera components for
surveillance may be paired with sensors for proximity, water, temperature, and humidity to create
a made-to-order monitoring system. Watchport Manager sends phone, email, or beeper alerts
and enables easy device integration without additional software development.
Watchport products consist of the following parts:
• The sensing device
• A USB interface (as a separate base unit or as part of the device itself)
