Watchport/W (Water Detector)
The Watchport/W uses an RS-232 modem signal interface and gives a binary output as
frequently as 100 times per second. However, since such frequent readings can slow processor
speed, the default is set to 1 read per 3 seconds.
DCD high means wet and DCD low means not wet.
The two prongs projecting from the bottom are for securing the detector to a soft surface such as
pinewood or wallboard. The surface should not be conductive when it is dry, so it cannot be a
metallic or other conductive material.
