3.3 INSTALLATION CHECKOUT
The installation checkout procedure validates the installation and operation of the CP-2500.
3.3.1 Power On Self Test
1.
Verify the circuit breaker for the CP-2500 is open.
2.
Connect aircraft to external power source to conserve aircraft battery power.
3.
Close circuit breaker.
4.
Press the small knob button to power on the CP-2500 (if not done previously).
5.
After power is applied, the unit goes through a power-on self-test that lasts for 10 seconds.

Verify the firmware and hardware versions are correct and that the system status shows "OK".
(Note - FW and HW versions are listed in the General Information section)

If a "Failed" message is shown on the display, cycle power the CP-2500. If the "Failed"
message continues, replacement of the CP-2500 may be required. Contact ACSS Field Service
before removal of the unit.
3.3.2 Display Check
The messages for the Lynx MSS system have evolved with the Version and Software Releases. The
display checks have been separated into the following paragraphs.
