Lost NetGuardian 832A or 216T Password
Return Switch 1 of four-position DIPswitch 1 to the 'OFF' position
An example of four-position DIPswitch 1, typically located behind the NetGuardian front-panel LCD display
Replace the top cover of the NetGuardian
o
Replace all screws removed earlier
Power up the NetGuardian
o
Apply the power cable or fuse
o
All settings, including the login password, will now be set to the factory defaults
o
The factory default NetGuardian password is "dpstelecom"
If you continue to have issues resetting your NetGuardian password, please contact DPS Telecom Tech Support.
