2.4 THE CONTROLS
The Elcometer 6014 is a menu-operated gauge and it has three control keys:
READ/SELECT
This button has three functions:
Power: Press to switch the gauge on.
Read: In measurement mode, press to take a new measurement.
Select: When navigating the set-up menus, press to select an item or confirm a previous
selection.
SCROLL UP/DOWN
Press to navigate the set-up and operation menus.
In the calibration set-up menu, press to change the calibration values.
CANCEL
In Opacity mode, press to switch between black and white measurements. Once measurements
are completed, press and hold for three seconds to calculate opacity.
During calibration, press to cancel the calibration process and revert to the previously stored
calibration constants.
