5. OPERATION

(1) Control switch

1. Blade stop Button: push down the button, the blade stops running.
2. Blade Start Button: push down the button, the blade starts running.
3. Working Lamp Switch: switch left to extinguish the lamp, switch right
to light it.
4. Grinder Switch: switch left to stop to stop it, switch right to run it.
5. Emergency switch:
Press the emergency switch immediately when any accident situation
or emergency stop occur. The power will be shut down and all move-
ment stopped. Restore the machine by turning 1/3 cycle to the right to
connect to power source again.
(2) Variable speed adjustment
1. Adjust the speed during the blade running.
2. Turn handwheel clockwise to increase the speed of blade.
3. Turn handwheel counterclockwise to decrease the speed of blade.

(3) Blade speed

1. The Speed Indicator is combined by a digital display and a proximity
switch, the proximity switch is a kind of untouched switch and
inducts the RPM of Driver Wheel to be calculated and played the
liner speed of blade by the digital display (LED).
2. There are the British and Metric System of mearsurement. The
Brithish System bases on feet per minute, and the Metric System
bases on meters per minute.
3. The position of Speed Indicator is under the operating switchers.

(4) Shift gear

This machine is equipped with a two-speed range transmission. Since the
Shift Gear is divided into three positions. The middle position is neutral.
Left side is low speed range and right side is high speed range. The con-
struction of transmission is gear. Thus never shift gear during running.
Otherwise the gear may be broken. Always turn off machine and allow
blade to come to a complete stop before shifting. Then pull out the handle
intend to. If gears are not in a position to push, start and stop machine inter-
mittent. Do not attempt to force shift control into place.
The choice of speeds refer to the "JOB SELECTOR CHART"

(5) Installation of blade

1. Open the door of free and drive wheel case.
2. Turn saw blade tension handwheel to lower in free wheel.
3. Using gloves, slip the saw blade through the table slot, between the
blade guides and over the wheels. (If the model is MBS-60V, idle wheel
should be included.)
4. Turn the regulating handwheel for saw blade tensity to raise the free
wheel and tighten the saw blade.
5. The less width of blade, the less tensity the saw blad shall be. In gene-
ral, the best tensity is to push the saw blade with the thumb 2-5 mm to
left if the distance between table and Upper Sawguide Inserts is 100
mm.

(6) Angle adjustment for working table

Procedure
Loosen the fastening Screw and adjust the angle. The adjustment can be
done according to the Indicating Needle. Fasten the Fastening Screw when
the needen angle is adjusted.

(7) Blade shear

Measure the length of blade. Cut the saw blade as illustration. The blade
must be square with blade shear.
