DIAGNOSIS
There is no electrical power to the
range .
The gas supply valve to the range is
closed .
Check the terminals on the spark
module for voltage .
Check for crimped or broken gas line
between the pressure gas regulator
and the surface burner control
manifold .
Gas pressure regulator switch is
closed .
Check the harness connections at the
spark module .
Check the spark module .
Check the electrode for that burner .
Check for a dirty surface burner
orifice.
Check for crimped or broken gas
lines .
Faulty surface burner control
Check for crimped gas line between
the pressure gas regulator and the
surface burner control manifold .
Faulty gas pressure regulator .
Check for a dirty surface burner
orifice.
Check for a crimped gas line .
Faulty surface burner control .
* Plug in the power cord and/or reset the
circuit breaker for the range .
* Open the gas supply valve .
* Replace the faulty spark module .
* Replace the damaged gas line .
* Replace the gas pressure regulator .
* Reconnect loose connection or replace
damaged harness .
* Disconnect the spark module terminal for
the nonworking burner . If no voltage is
measured, replace the spark module .
* Disconnect the electrode and check whether
electrode wire or tip is broken . Replace the
faulty electrode .
* Clean and/or replace the surface burner
orifice.
NOTE: Replacement orifice should always be
the same size as removed .
* Replace damaged gas lines .
* Each surface burner control is an integral
part of the surface burner control manifold .
Replace the manifold .
* Replace the damaged gas line .
* Replace the gas pressure regulator .
* Clean and/or replace the surface burner
orifice.
NOTE: Replacement orifice should always be
the same size as removed .
* Replace the crimped gas line .
* Each surface burner control is an integral
part of the surface burner control manifold .
Replace the manifold .
