chorage can be found under the lower section of the

Child restraint anchorages are designed to with-

stand only those loads imposed by correctly installed

child restraints. Under no circumstances are they to
G be used for adult seat belts or harnesses.
e Do not misuse the child restraint anchorages.

Only attach one child seat tether per anchorage

or connector.
e They are not designed to withstand loads im-

posed by adults.

1. Secure the child restraint system to retaining

lugs A as described in the instruction manual for

the child restraint system.

anchorage points are properly engaged.

When using a child restraint system with L.A.T.C.H.
top tether, the anchorage points on the rear of the
rear seat backrest are used to secure the top tether.

1. Secure the child restraint system to retaining
lugs A as described in the instruction manual for
the child restraint system.
2. Pull on the child restraint system to check that
both anchorage points are properly engaged.
3. Guide L.A.T.C.H. top tether B through the
headrest.
