Unpacking the Spectrum RX I

Take great care when installing your Spectrum RX I, and follow
the procedures described in this manual. If you require

This section describes how to unpack the Spectrum RX I.

Moving the Spectrum RX I

If you move your Spectrum RX I, be aware that condensation caused by
moving the Spectrum RX I from a cooler environment to a warmer one can
damage the windows of the sample compartment. To prevent this damage
from occurring:
• make sure that the windows are protected by placing fresh bags of
desiccant in the sample compartment;
• leave the Spectrum RX I to reach the temperature of the surroundings
before removing the protective packaging.
Although this is particularly important when first unpacking your Spectrum
RX I, it also applies if you move your Spectrum RX I at a later date.
