4.2 CHECKING THE TRAILER'S TECHNICAL CONDITION

When preparing the trailer for normal use, check individual elements according to guidelines
presented in table (4.1).

SERVICE OPERATION
Visually inspect the tyres and check if
they are properly inflated.
After hitching trailer to the tractor
activate in sequence individual lights,
check if all reflective lights are
installed, check if slow-moving vehicle
warning sign is in place.
Attach trailer to the tractor and test the
brakes after moving off.
Check operation and tightness of
hydraulic systems during tipping of
load box
Check the condition of tyre tread,
lateral surfaces, wheel rim and if
necessary inflate the tyres up to
recommend pressure
Torque values should be according to
table (5.5).
