Fault
The shredder does not work
when empty.

Possible Cause
The power transmission may be
damaged.
Cutting unit unbalanced as a
result of a strong impact.
Broken blade or severe damage
to the hammers.
Seized support or loose
transmission components.
Excessive material introduced.
Accidental
introduction of
stones or metal.
Lack of power.

Possible Solution
Check the power transmission
system. If the problem persists,
request technical assistance.
Find out what the exact cause
of the problem is and contact an
authorized technician to carry
out repairs.
Switch off the machine and put
on protective gloves.
Clean the shredder.
Every time the shredder stops
for the reasons indicated,
always check the working
efficiency of the transmission
and the shredder unit, paying
close attention to the integrity of
the blades, hammers and
shafts.
DO NOT restart the machine
immediately because it could
cause the transmission to
break.
Before starting the machine,
remove any materials from
under the drive roller as
indicated above. If necessary,
clean the shredder.
