Checking the safety devices

Check that the safety devices installed on the machine are working properly, especially the emergency
stop button on the machine and the emergency stop button on the remote control.
Check the integrity of all the safety guards installed on the equipment.
DANGER
If one or more of the parts listed above malfunctions or breaks; do not use
the machine. The machine should only be used again when the problem
has been correctly repaired by authorised technician.
Emergency stop device
The shredder is equipped with an Emergency
Stop System which can be used in the event
where unsuitable materials enter the machine,
or in circumstances of danger.
Pushing the handle (M) activates the lever (L)
connected to the valve located beneath the
hopper.
In order to check the working order of this
device before use; turn on the engine and
engage the transmission. Pull the handle (M)
towards you and check that the valve lever is in
the work position, and then push the handle with
force towards the machine. If the infeed roller is
not released, contact an authorised technician.
