Symptom
Zero velocity is
displayed while
flow from pressure
mode has been
selected and there
is flow present
"nO rEF" is
displayed
Warning! Remove the probe from excessive temperature immediately:
excessive heat can damage the sensor. Operating temperature
limits can be found in Appendix A (Specifications).
The pressure sensor is protected from damage up to 10 psi
(69 kPa or 520 mmHg). At higher pressure it can burst!

Possible Causes
Pressure tubing is
connected backwards
Pressure sensor is broken
Not enough data has
been taken to calculate
heat flow
Heat Flow logging is
turned to "on" and not
enough data to calculate
heat flow.
Corrective Action
Switch the pressure hoses
on the V C
ELOCI ALC
and see if problem
persists
Return to TSI for service
Refer to Heat Flow
section of Chapter 3 to
see what data is required
Turn Heat Flow logging
to "auto". See SAMPLE
(options) section for
details on turning heat
flow to "auto".
