In the case of special design, details named in the operating in‐
structions can deviate. In this case, order the supplementary doc‐
umentation.
Frame size 130 motors with cooling type "N" and frame size 530C motors
with cooling type "S" are suitable for operation without liquid cooling. The
nominal data are achieved at ambient temperatures of up to 40 °C. Sufficient
heat radiation must be ensured by the installation situation. Unhindered verti‐
cal convection has to be ensured by a sufficient distance of minimum
100 mm to adjacent components on the side surfaces. Pollution of the sur‐
face of the motor reduces heat dissipation. Clean the motor in regularly inter‐
vals.
Liquid-cooled energy storage devices may only operated on a closed coolant
circuit with heat exchanger. The coolant flow direction must be determined
depending on the installation position of the motor. Basically, the coolant inlet
must be connected at the bottom and the coolant outlet at the top. Please ob‐

Corrosion inhibitors must be added to the engine cooling water circuit. Please
