Encoder and encoder connection components are not included in the scope
of delivery of the motor. Select the components according to the machine re‐
quirements.
To ensure safe motor protection against thermal overload, the temperature
sensor SNM.150.DK has to be connected to the drive controller. Comply with
the respective connection diagram for the selected connection type (device
connector or terminal box) when connecting the temperature sensors. You
will find additional information about temperature sensor in the MBT project
planning manual
.
Different temperature sensors may be used for special prod‐
ucts. Observe the documentation about the special product.
Temperature sensor KTY84-130 is a component that might
by damaged by ESD! For this reason, the stranded wires of
the sensor are protected by a protective foil at the connec‐
tion cable. Before connecting the sensor, take appropriate
measures for ESD protection ( ESD = electrostatic dis‐
charge).
The liquid cooling system on the stator must be connected in such a way that
the coolant inflow is at the bottom and the coolant outflow is always at the top
when the stator is installed vertically.
