Mounting

The Panel PC CP37xx-1600 is designed for installation on a mounting arm system. Please observe the
environmental conditions prescribed for the operation (see Chapter 9 Technical data [} 50]).
The Panel PC is installed on the mounting arm system using a mounting arm adapter. At the rear of the
Panel PC there are four M6 threaded holes spaced 100 x 100 mm apart for installing the mounting arm
adapter. If you require a Beckhoff mounting arm adapter for the installation, two ordering options are
available for this purpose:

Figure 13 shows the two available mounting arm adapters. Both adapters have a locking screw to prevent
rotation. Ordering option 1 has an additional clamping lever for lock the tilt. Both mounting arm adapters can
be rotated by +/- 165°. The adapters adapt the Panel PC with a 48.3 mm circular tube.

Regardless of which of the two mounting arm adapters you have chosen, you will have to install the adapters
yourself. The procedure is shown below. In both cases, the cable is routed through the mounting arm.
For more information on the two mounting arm adapters, please refer to the corresponding data sheet.
Installing the mounting arm adapter
If you have chosen one of the two mounting arm adapters from Beckhoff referred to above, the installation
procedure is the same in both cases. Before the installation you have to decide whether you want to orient
the device upwards or downwards (see Fig. 14).
