System Security
The Setup program has a number of security features to prevent
unauthorized access to the system and its data.
The following screen appears if you select System Security from the
Main menu:
Setup Password .................. [None]
Power-on Password ............... [None]
Operation Mode ................ [Normal]
Disk Drive Control
Floppy Drive .................. [Normal]
Hard Disk Drive ............... [Normal]

Setup Password
The Setup Password prevents unauthorized access to the BIOS utility.
To set or change a Password:
1.
Make sure that JP4 is set to 2-3 (bypass password). See section
1.4 for the location of JP4.
You cannot enter the BIOS utility if a Setup
password does not exist and JP4 is set to 1-2
(password check enabled).
By default, JP4 is set to 2-3 (Bypass
password).
