Checking the basic position of the shift lever

When driving, the shift lever must not touch the rider's boot when in the basic position.
When the shift lever keeps touching the boot, the transmission will be subject to an excessive load.

If the TC indicator lamp and both drive mode
lamps light up at same time, a malfunction has
been detected in the traction control. Contact
an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles work-
shop.

Sit on the vehicle in the riding position and determine

distance between the upper edge of your boot and the
shift lever.

» If the distance does not meet specifications:
