To Determine and Change the Operating Protocol
Mode Using the FCode Utility
This procedure describes how to determine and change the operating protocol mode of the
universal HBA using the FCode utility on Oracle SPARC systems.
1.
Type the show-disks command at the ok prompt to list the QLogic FC/FCoE
device path.

Type the select command at the ok prompt to select the first port of the universal
host bus adapter.
Depending on what you select, you might see ouput similar to one of the following examples.

protocol mode of the universal HBA.
The following example shows the mode being changed (in this case, from FC to CNA):
