Two pass-through interface modules are installed on the FortiGate-4000P. The
internal pass-through interface module connects to each FortiBlade-4010 internal
interface. The external pass-through interface connects to each FortiBlade-4010
external interface. Each pass-through interface module contains ten gigabit copper
ethernet interfaces, one for each FortiBlade-4010 module.
Figure 12 shows the connections between the pass-through interface module
ethernet connectors and the FortiBlade-4010 modules installed in the FortiGate-4000
chassis. The connections are arranged the same on the internal and external pass-
through interface modules.
