Configuring an External Display In Windows
1.
Attach your external display to the appropriate port, and turn it on.
2.
Go to the Control Panel.
3.
Click Display (icon) and Adjust Resolution (Appearance and Personalization).
4.
Click the Detect button.
5.
The computer will then detect any attached displays.
