Problem
The Thunderbolt Port doesn't appear to
work.
An external display will not connect to the
Thunderbolt Port.
One of the DisplayPorts doesn't work.
You forget the boot password.
If you choose to set a boot password, NEVER forget your password. The consequences of this could be serious. If you cannot
remember your boot password you must contact your vendor and you may lose all of the information on your hard disk.
Possible Cause - Solution
The Thunderbolt Port must be enabled in the BIOS. You will need to enable
Thunderbolt support in the BIOS
(Advanced Menu > Intel(R) Thunderbolt)" on page 5 -
The security level of the Thunderbolt Port must be set to support Display only in
order to support external display connections. If you want to use the Thunderbolt
port to support display devices then you will need to set the security level to
support display devices only (see
Thunderbolt)" on page 5 -
