CAUTION!
Danger of injury caused by uncontrolled
machine movement!
– Always hold on to a running machine.
– Always keep an eye on a running machine.
Operate the recoil starter, until the engine starts.
If the engine does not start after 10 to 20
attempts, clean the spark plug.

Special tool:

2. Pull off the spark plug socket.
3. Unscrew the spark plug using a 13/16 inch spark plug
spanner.
4. Operate the recoil starter several times.

CAUTION!
Danger of eye injuries caused by particles
flying around!
– Wear your personal protective equipment
(safety gloves, protective working clothes,
goggles).
Dry the spark plug with a clean cloth or blow it dry with com-
pressed air.
6. If necessary clean the spark plug with a wire brush.
7. Screw the spark plug carefully in by hand and once the
sealing surface of the used spark plug is in contact tighten for
another 1/8 to 1/4 turn with the spark plug spanner.
8. Plug the spark plug socket back on.
9. Repeat the starting procedure.
