Mount the device close to the process and use a minimum of piping to achieve best performance. Also, consider the need for easy access, personnel safety, and a suitable device environment.

Keep the vent path free of any obstruction, including but not limited to paint, dust, and lubrication by mounting the device so the process can drain away.

Wrench tighten manifold into process connection (minimum toque value is 425 in-lbs). Count how many threads are still showing (minimum engagement is 3 revolutions).

    Verify the latest Device Description (DD/DTM) is loaded on your systems to ensure proper communications. Download the latest DD at EmersonProcess.com or hartcomm.org. In the Browse by Member dropdown menu, select Rosemount business unit of Emerson Process Management. Select desired product. Within Table 3-1, use the HART Universal Revision and Device Revision numbers to find the correct Device Description.

It is useful for compensating for mounting position effects and is most effective when performed with the device installed in its final mounting position. Since this correction maintains the slope of the characterization curve, it should not be used in place of a sensor trim over the full sensor range.

This battery has been officially tested with the device as required by the I.S. standards during the assessment of the Rosemount Wireless Pressure Gauge.
