Monitoring the kV and mA values

Under the following conditions, the corresponding Err. message is sig-
naled:
0.8 ms
A change in the heating value may be due to the following causes:
1. Measurement error in the kV measuring circuit.
a. Too high + kV
actual
(positive correction)
b. Too low + kV
actual
(negative correction)
2. Change in generator output.
This may occur when exchanging the inverter or the single tank.
In each case, the heating values must be readjusted and recorded
(see P10 and P07 in the service program).
a. If the generator output is increased, this results in an increase
in heating value.
b. If the generator output decreases, the heating value will be
decreased.
Any change of the tube current involves a change in exposure time
(mAs = i x t)!
