Adjustment screw

Loosen the adjustment screw so that the arm is no longer balanced. However, the spring
mechanism remains in position (Fig. 29). Do not allow the spring mechanism to fall out.
•
Remove the screw and washer from the upper counter bearing (Fig. 30).
•
Remove the friction linings.
