H806 Series – Mechanical Oven
"°C" button when the Roast Probe is plugged in).
4.1.1.2
Function Symbol
Each of the pushbuttons corresponds to the triangular symbol directly
above it in the display.
Continuously lit symbol:
The selected function is in progress.
Flashing symbol:
Select a temperature using the "°C" button (4) and the selector switch
(6) if the triangle above the "°C" button flashes.
If the triangle above the "Manual" button (3) flashes, this button should
be pressed so that the hotplates / oven can only be switched on and
off using the appropriate regulator.
Note:
Always press the "Manual" button (3) after completing an automatic
operation to avoid further mistakes.
When using the oven, temperature-controlled roasting (i.e. using the
roast probe) always takes precedence over timed roasting. The two front
hotplates can still be time-controlled when the roast probe is plugged in.
4.1.1.3
Altering Times and Temperatures Already Entered
If it is not possible to enter a cooking time in excess of 23 hours and 59
minutes or if 0.00 appears in the display when the time is turned back,
conflicting and illogical instructions have been entered which the timer
tries to prevent.
Example:
Time at which original instructions were given: 8 o'clock.
Selected cooking time: 30 minutes.
End of operation: 12.30 minutes.
It is now 11 o'clock and baking or roasting has not yet begun. If the pre-
selected end of the process is brought forward so that the time difference
between the actual time of day and the end of the cooking process is less
than 30 minutes, the figures 0.00 appear in the display to show that the
full cooking time is not possible given the actual amount of time left before
the selected end of cooking.
