2-1. Replacing the CCD Unit

Do not replace the CCD unit with the power
turned on.
Before replacing the CCD unit, be sure to turn off
the power switch and disconnect the cable con-
nected to the DC IN connector.
1. Remove the side panel (L) assembly and the
side panel (R) assembly.
(Refer to Section 1-5.)
2. Disconnect the harness from the connector
(J1) on the fi lter servo board.
3. Disconnect the two fl exible fl at cable from
the connectors (CN1, CN3) on the TG-265PT
board.

Be careful not to bend the fl exible card wire.
This shortens the wire life.
4. Disconnect the harness from the connector
(CN14) on the MB-1158 board.
5. Remove the four screws to remove the front
assembly.
6. Remove the lens mount holder.
7. Remove the two screws to detach the mount
lever.
8. Loosen the two setscrews to detach the fi lter
knob (ND).
9. Loosen the two setscrews to detach the fi lter
knob (CC).
10. Remove the four hexagon cap screws and
four spring washers to detach the front panel
assembly.
