4-4. Scene File
Scene fi les are fi les for storing the differences from the reference fi le. Therefore, when the reference fi le is
changed, output of the scene fi le item corresponding to the item changed in the reference fi le also varies.
Scene fi les can be stored in the camera and Memory Stick Duo. Scene fi les can also be stored in the
Memory Stick Duo if the master setup unit (MSU) is used. For details, refer to the MSU operation manu-
al.
Data is stored and called using the setup menu or MSU.
Scene fi les can be copied between cameras using the Memory Stick Duo.

Before storing data in the Memory Stick Duo, make sure that the LOCK switch on the Memory Stick Duo
is set to OFF.
Storing (Refer to step 1 of Fig.4-3.)
Using PAINT Menu of This Unit
1. Change the scene fi le item to the desired value.
2. Select the scene fi le number to be stored.
[PAINT]
[SCENE|FILE]
[STORE]
With MSU
1. Change the scene fi le item to the desired value.
2. Press "STORE" of the scene fi le, and press the STORE number.
Calling and Clearing the Call (Refer to step 2 of Fig.4-3.)
Using PAINT Menu of This Unit
Select the scene fi le number to be called on the SCENE FILE page. A fi le currently being called is indi-
cated with its fi le number highlighted. Select the number again to cancel the call and resume the previous
status.
With MSU
When one of the SCENE FILE buttons you want to call is pressed and lit while the STORE button is not
lit, the fi le of the selected number is called. Pressing the button again cancels the call and the button lamp
goes out.
