Handling Paper
Caution
To avoid damaging the
printer, never move the
paper set lever while the
Operate or Pause light is
flashing.
Note
You can't run a cleaning
cycle when heavy stock is
loaded in the printer.
6. Press the
button. The print head moves and the paper feeds into
Pause
printing position automatically.
(Even if you don't press
printing position automatically after 10 seconds.)
7. Print your page. After it is finished, the sheet stays in the printer.
8. To remove your printout, hold the sheet while pressing the
button.

Printing on Heavy Stock

You can print on heavy stock up to B2 size (approximately 20 × 28 inches).
Follow these instructions when you print on card stock or other media more
than 0.5 mm thick.
1. Pull down the paper hammock to catch your printouts in front of the
printer (when you're using the printer stand). Extend the paper guides
straight out in front of the printer to keep the stock from bending.
2. Press the
Paper Source
comes on.
3. Make sure the
Operate
push the paper set lever all the way down.
4. Open the lower cover by pulling down on the handles.
5. Feed the stock into the paper slot until the bottom edge of the stock
rests behind the open lower cover.
