Solving USB Cable Problems

If your printer does not work correctly with a USB cable, try one or more of
these solutions:
Make sure you are using the recommended USB cable as described on
page 1-5.
Make sure the
PARA. I/F
setting using the printer's control panel, as described on page A-3. If this
problem still occurs, turn the printer off and back on.
If you're using a USB hub, connect the printer to the first tier of the
hub, or connect the printer to the computer's USB port directly.
For Windows systems, try reinstalling the USB printer device driver and
the printer software. First, uninstall
the Add/Remove Programs utility in the Windows Control Panel, then
uninstall
EPSON USB Printer Devices.
