You can load single-sheet m u lti-p art form s from the p ap er gu id e
or w ith the op tional cu t-sheet feed er. For instru ctions, see "Using
Single Sheets" on p age 3-6 or "Load ing p ap er from the cu t-sheet
feed er" in Chap ter 5. You can load continu ou s m u lti-p art form s
in the sam e w ay as you load ord inary continu ou s p ap er. For
instru ctions, see "Using Continu ou s Pap er" earlier in this chap ter.
Caut ion:

W hen printing on multi-part forms, make sure that
your software settings keep the printing entirely
within the printable area of the forms. Printing on the
edge of a multi-part form can damage the print head.
For information about the printable area, see the paper
specifications in A ppendix A .
Load single-sheet multi-part forms glued at the side of the
form only from the paper guide, not from the optional
cut-sheet feeder.

Using Labels

When selecting labels for p rinting, alw ays choose labels m ou nted
on continu ou s backing sheets w ith sp rocket holes for u se w ith a
tractor. Do not u se labels on shiny single-sheet backing, becau se
the backing sheet tend s to slip and m ay not feed p rop erly.
You load labels in the sam e w ay as you load continu ou s p ap er,
excep t that you set the p ap er thickness lever to "2." For

Pap er" earlier in this chap ter.
