To attach the p ap er gu id e, slid e the slots on the p ap er gu id e all the
w ay onto the m ou nting p egs in the p rinter as show n below .

Plugging in the Printer

1. Make su re the p rinter is tu rned off. The p rinter is off w hen
the top of the Op era te bu tton is flu sh w ith the raised tabs
on either sid e of the bu tton.
2. Check the label on the back of the p rinter to m ake su re its
voltage m atches that of you r electrical ou tlet. Also m ake su re
the p lu g on you r p rinter's p ow er cord m atches you r electrical
ou tlet.
Caut ion:

It is not possible to change the printer's voltage. If the rated
voltage and your outlet voltage do not match, contact your
dealer for assistance. Do not plug in the power cord.
3. If the p ow er cord is not attached to the p rinter, p lu g the
ap p rop riate end into the AC inlet on the back of the p rinter.
4. Plu g the p ow er cord into a p rop erly grou nd ed electrical ou tlet.
