Using the Error Indica tors
You can id entify m any com m on p rinter p roblem s u sing the
lights on the control panel. If your p rinter stop s w orking and
one or m ore control panel lights are on or flashing, use the
follow ing table to d iagnose and fix the problem .

Solution
No pa per is loa ded for the selected pa per source.

Pa use lig hts g o off a nd the p rinte r resum es p rinting .
The pa per is not loa ded correctly.
Rem ove a nd re loa d your p a p er c orre c tly. See
Cha p te r 3 for instruc tions o n how to loa d the typ e
o f p a p e r you wa nt to use.
The pa per relea se lever is set to the wrong
position.
Se t the p a p e r rele a se le ve r to the p o sition tha t
m a tc he s the p a p e r lo a d ed in the p rinter.
Single-sheet pa per is not fully ejected.
Rem ove the p a p e r b y ha nd ; the Pa p e r Out lig ht
g oe s o ff.
Pa per is ja mmed in the printer.
