When AGM is on, the p rinter can u se ad vanced grap hics
com m and s like those available in ESC/ P 2 m od e. This featu re is
available only in IBM em u lation m od e. The d efau lt setting is Off.
Font
In the d efau lt-setting m od e, you can select from these six fonts:
OCR-B, Orator, Orator-S, S crip t C, Rom an T, and S ans Serif H .
The follow ing ad d itional fonts are available only by pressing
the Font button on the control p anel: Draft, Rom an, Sans Serif,
Cou rier, Prestige, and Scrip t. You cannot select the control
p anel fonts in the d efau lt-setting m od e.
Cha nging the defa ult settings
Follow the step s below to enter the d efau lt-setting m od e and
change the p rinter's d efau lt settings.

To print the language selection sheet and the default-setting
mode instruction sheets, you need four sheets of A 4 or letter
size single-sheet paper or 11-inch or longer continuous paper.
See Chapter 3, "Paper Handling," for instructions on loading
single-sheet and continuous paper.
If you use single-sheet paper to print the default-setting mode
instruction sheets, be sure to load a new sheet of paper each time
the printer ejects a printed sheet. Otherwise, you cannot proceed
to the next step.
