For instru ctions on how to activate the au to tear-off fu nction, see
"Using the Defau lt-Setting Mod e" in Chap ter 4 or op en the
EPSON Rem ote! u tility as d escribed in Chap ter 2 and follow the
on-screen instru ctions. While u sing the d efau lt-setting m od e or
the u tility, also m ake su re the p age length is set correctly for you r
continu ou s p ap er. If you m ake these settings in the d efau lt-setting
m od e, be su re to tu rn off the p rinter then tu rn it on again to ap p ly
you r settings.
The step s below d escribe how to u se au to tear-off.
1. When you finish p rinting on continu ou s p ap er, the p rinter
ad vances the p erforation of the final p rinted p age to the
tear-off p osition.
2. Tear off all p rinted p ages. (If the p erforation is not aligned w ith
the tear-off ed ge, you can ad ju st the tear-off p osition u sing the
m icro-ad ju st featu re. See "Ad ju sting the tear-off p osition"
later in this chap ter.)
3. When you resu m e p rinting, the p rinter au tom atically feed s the
p ap er back to the top -of-form p osition and begins p rinting.
(You can also m anu ally feed the p ap er back to the top -of-form
p osition by p ressing the Tea r Off/ Bin bu tton.)
You can leave au to tear-off m od e on even w hen you are u sing
single sheets becau se the m od e is d isabled w hen you m ove the
p ap er release lever to the single-sheet p osition.
