To avoid personal injury:
A Be sure to stop the engine, remove the key, and
relieve pressure before checking and replacing
the hydraulic hose.
A Allow the transmission case to cool down
sufficiently; oil can be hot and may cause
burns.
A Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure has
sufficient force to penetrate the skin causing
serious personal injury. Before disconnecting
lines, be sure to relieve all pressure. Before
applying pressure to the system, make sure all
connections are tight and that lines, pipes, and
hoses are not damaged.
1. Check to see that all lines and hose clamps are tight
and not damaged.
2. If hoses and clamps are found worn or damaged,
replace or repair them at once.
