9 BMC Settings
9.1 Introduction
This Specification describes the functional specifications for the Baseboard Management
Controller (BMC). It also describes the feature's detail information.
This document is written for software developers, system integrators, testers, server
management users.
9.2 Server System Overview
BMC is an independent system of host server system. This independent system has its
own processor and memory; the host system can be managed by BMC system even if host
hardware or OS hang or went down.
