PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

INTENDED USE
The jigsaw is designed for sawing wood, metals,
non-ferrous metals and plastics using the appropri-
ate saw blade.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. Please note that our equipment has not
been designed for use in commercial, trade or in-
dustrial applications.

UNPACKING & CHECKING
PACKAGING
Carefully remove the product from the packaging
and examine it for any sign of damage that may
have happened during shipping. If any part is dam-
aged or missing; please contact please contact the
Customer Service Department and do not attempt
to use the saw. The packaging material should be
retained at least during the guarantee period: in
case the machine needs to be returned for repair.
WARNING: Some of the packaging materials used
may be harmful to children. Do not leave any of
these materials in the reach of children.
If any of the packaging is to be thrown away, make
sure they are disposed of correctly; according to lo-
cal regulations.
BARE MACHINE
This reciprocating saw is supplied without a battery,
and without a charger.

BEFORE STARTING THE EQUIPMENT

SAFETY GUARD
The safety guard (14) protects the user from acciden-

tally touching the saw blade (10) but still gives you an
unobstructed view of the cutting area.
The safety guard (14) must always be fitted and in po-
f
sition before starting any sawing work.

CHANGING THE SAW BLADE (image B)
IMPORTANT: Remove the battery pack before you
fit or replace a saw blade.
WARNING: THE TEETH OF THE SAW BLADE ARE
VERY SHARP!
You can fit or replace saw blades without using any
other tools.
1. Set the selector switch for pendulum action (15)
to position a.
2. Remove the safety guard (14).
3. Press the blade holder (13) and insert the saw
blade (10) into the blade holder (13) as far as
the stop (Image B). The teeth on the saw blade
must be pointing forwards.
4. Allow the blade holder (13) to slide back to start-
ing position. The saw blade (10) must sit in the
